International questions 2

For the midterm, we decided to make an interview about international policy. This is our second time to interview international students. We invited some people who joined us last time and also some people who haven't done this before. Last time we interviewed them in the library during flex. Since it was not that quite in the library, we changed the place to the cinematography classroom. Muench helped us to set the light and other equipment. I think the light was pretty good in the cinematography classroom because everyone who was interviewed there looks great. However, we also faced some problems because some people were not ready to speak when they came. So we needed to give some advice to them and gave them time to prepare. The process was generally successful. So it took us almost just a flex to film all the people that we needed to interview. Then during C block, Wendy and I started to film our beginning part and ending part. However, the place that we chose to film did not have good light. After watching the parts that we filmed during C block. Mr. Muench suggested that we could film it again the next day and he could find someone to help us.

This time we focused on some new policies that may affect our life in some ways. We tried not to make it too serious although the topic that we talked about is serious. Charlie and Sean helped us to film. We went outside because the light outside was good even though it was a little bit chilly. We used two microphones and the voice recorders. It became easier with their help, so we filmed our part successfully in one block. Then the hard part is to add the subtitles and audio. Generally, it was easier than the last time and we enjoyed it.
